Michelle joined Basics nearly one year ago at the recommendation of her doctor. She was very motivated as she had just been told she would need to carry oxygen 24/7 unless she could improve her oxygen saturation numbers through exercise.
The thought of carrying oxygen everywhere you go is difficult but what Michelle was most concered about was the thought of having to bring her oxygen tank to work and feeling self-conscious around her co-workers.
It took nearly 9 months but Michelle's doctor was excited to see her progress from an o2 saturation level of 89% when she started to her current o2 saturation level of 93%!
By exercising just 2 days a week at Basics, Michelle has strengthened her lung capacity and has successfully avoided having to bring her oxygen to work!
